Mixing

Use my experience to give your music professional polish. I specialize in jazz and acoustic pop/rock but have experience with many other styles. I can provide a fresh perspective on your music and provide a professional finished product at reasonable rates. Those rates will be depend on the details of the project. 'All-in' production

This means I will coordinate the entire recording process from idea to finished master within just about any budget from demo to major release. This typically includes pre-production and planning, song selection and arranging or co-writing (as needed), hiring and rehearsing of musicians, scheduling and managing recording sessions and mixing (either myself or someone who better meets the needs of your project). I can also refer you to mastering and manufacturing facilities as well as, in some cases, record label representatives. Each production is individually tailored to meet your needs and the needs of your music.

Musician Contracting

Perhaps you have already recorded your music yourself but you wish you could add a nice guitar solo or just the right live drum groove. I can set you up with some of the best musicians in your area or worldwide through 'file-sharing' collaboration. Together we can find the best sound to complement your song or lend it a little 'star power'. Rates vary depending on the location and details of the collaboration. Budgeting and Planning

No matter what your ultimate goal, you don't want to spend your money blindly or foolishly. I can use my experiences to help you plan a budget and schedule for your recording project, advising you where you could save money and where it is better not to. If your project is already finished I can help you create a marketing plan to help you get it heard. We can work together to create a detailed and realistic plan for when, how and where to release your music.

Digital Editing

From cleaning up basic tracks to splicing together multiple takes, assembling podcasts, making radio edits, or timing music for commercials or background music, I can unlock the incredible editing power of the modern audio workstation for you.

Perhaps you need to turn your ideas into written music to communicate to other musicians. I can create parts for any size ensemble - from simple rhythm section lead sheets to adding string or horn parts or even full studio orchestra arrangements.
