Headphonomenon (the headphone phenomenon) is the name of the company I started as an outlet for my work on the technical side of music creation. Here you'll find information about my recording and education projects and also some resources on the practice of modern recording and music production.

Advances in recording technology have created a tremendous opportunity for more people than ever before to experience the satisfaction of creating and distributing music. This experience can also be frustrating when things are not working properly or when unforeseen obstacles get in the way.

I can help you navigate the complexities of getting your music out of your head and into the real world. With nearly 20 years of experience as a touring musician, recording engineer, studio manager and producer, chances are good that I have been where you are now. Regardless of the type or scale of your project, I can help you create it better and more efficiently. From mixing or producing to just answering a question or giving advice, hopefully I can give you whatever help you need to be able to focus on the music.
